Example 1: A new training is required
Every significant change must be carefully documented. First, it must be checked whether an adjustment of the risk assessment is necessary, e.g., because the formulation of a hazardous substance has changed. Based on the updated risk assessment, further steps can then be initiated.
Step 2: Update the operating instructions for hazardous substances (QUMsult platform)
The risk assessments are linked to relevant documents. The risk assessment is first adjusted, and the data for the hazardous substance is updated. The associated operating instructions can then also be updated with very little effort. Before using the hazardous substance, approval is granted, and this process is also mapped by the platform.
Step 3: Update the training at FinishingX
Let's first assume that your training is based on operating instructions. In this step, the operating instructions must be updated accordingly in our system. The relevant changes are integrated into our digital training plan. Your employees then receive the updated training. It is important to include a comprehension test and to conduct a safety talk with the employee in a timely manner (personal instruction according to GefStoffV). Moderated discussions help to get feedback from the supervisor and thus answer the most common questions in advance. All of this is well documented via our platform. Tip: If you already maintain a training plan with other software, it can usually be connected via an API.
Integration of additional training materials
Of course, you can use your company documents, such as PowerPoint slides, for training and conduct them using the FinishingX platform as part of the update of the training. You can also use our existing sample templates. However, the update of such training materials is not automatic. This means that the intelligent linking between risk assessment and training materials is not given in this case.

Example 2: A new legal requirement comes into force
The software ensures that all EHS documents are linked together. A change triggers a series of updates in the associated documents.
The legal register provides all regulations relevant to the company, which are updated quarterly by QUMsult. In the event of changes, measures can be derived, and responsibilities and deadlines can be set, this also applies to changes in hazardous substance law. The software helps the user to precisely identify which documents or processes are affected and what changes are necessary.
Step 2: Implement measures (QUMsult)
If, for example, regulations in hazardous substance law are changed or new ones are added, they are implemented on the QUMsult platform, e.g., by updating the candidate list (SVHC substances), the CMR list, or the simple measures concept for hazardous substances (EMKG).
